Pølsevognen (which means “Hot Dog Stand” in danish) serves the Danes favorite fast food – the hot dog.
Personally I´am always having one on the way home after a good Night out.
Here is the recipe: (you may need to be a Dane to understand it)
Preparation time: 5 min.
Cooking time: 10 min.
Ingredients
5 Sausage
A half onion
5 tbsp. Roasted onion
50g Pickled cucumber
5 tbsp. Tomato ketchup
5 tsp. Yellow mustard
5 tbsp. Remoulade (appears to exist only in Denmark)
5 pcs. of Sausage Bread
Approach
Heat sausages in a saucepan with water. The water should be slightly below the boiling point, or fissures sausages.
Chop the raw onion into cubes.
Serve the raw and roasted onions in small bowls.
Heat the Sausage Bread in a toaster.
Slice the Sausage Bread halfway through the middle of the loaf. Place a sausage in the bread and add ketchup, mustard, tartar sauce, raw onions, roasted onion and cucumber salad on it.
Enjoy!
This is an HDR made from 5 RAW exposures, I have made a HDR of the second-longest exposure (+1) and cloned the man to the right into the “real” HDR images. to remove ghosting from his movements. I’ve also added some blur around the hot dog cart to get it to pop bit more out of frame.
