I had stayed in Austin for a few days – at the moment Austin ranks second on My “cool cities in the US list” – driving around the city, shooting all kinds of stuff, with My new friend Mike, when I told him that My plan was to drive from Austin all the way through west Texas and end up somewhere in New Mexico, he just looked at me and said “But there is nothing out there” well that’s the thing, when you come from a small country like Denmark – I think Texas is about 4 times bigger than Denmark – a big empty nothing is quiet fascinating, and I surely do not regret that I took the drive, cause driving out highways that doesn’t seem to end, is what road trips are all about.
And Mike, if you read this – I’m sure you will – I just wanna thank you once more for all the things you did for me on this trip. Thank you friend.
Well here we have a 5 exposure HDR, made in Photomatrix – if you look at the photo in high-res, you can see a road in the distance, that’s the way I’m going – used the 5 exposure to masked out some ghosting – especially on the plant – in Photoshop, and finally I used the good old Topaz Adjust, to give the photo some extra contrast and make it pop a bit more in the clouds.
