I’ll end this years posting, with one of My favorite photos made in 2013.
It was made when I was on My way up the coast from San Francisco to Seattle. I decided to take a small de-tour up a forest road, to see if I could find anything interesting to photograph, but the fog was to thigh and heavy, for me to see and photograph anything else then fog, but as I was getting higher and higher, the fog was getting lighter and lighter. And all of a sudden I saw these light-rays in between the trees, I quickly parked the car, grabbed My gear and ran into the forest. I think I was standing here for like 20 minutes, in order to get the photo I wanted, because the fog was coming in waves and some where better – more foggy – the others, which made it take a while before the perfect wave came along.
And on a side note, I really feel in love with the forests of Oregon this summer, they are some of the most beautiful forests I ever seen.
