Here’s a Sunrise photo I made on my trip to Langeland a bit more than a month ago.
As you can see in the EXIF data below, it’s a 30sec exposure I got that using a ND 400 filter on my 24-70mm lens, but first I made a “normal” exposure, and used that one to mask in the birds sitting on the poles, because with a Long Exposure they are not going to be sharp, because they move around quite a bit in the 30 seconds in takes to make the long exposure. And then there is the fact that I had to use f20 to get the 30sec. A lens is normally sharper around f8, so I used f8 for the “normal” exposure to get as sharp an image as possible.
