This is one of my favorite photos, from my trip to Mongolia last year. It’s actually one of my all-time favorites.
I like the dynamic range I manage to capture, even though this was a hand-held HDR, didn’t have time to set up my tripod cause this guys move fast. I love the shadows behind all the tufts of grass.
I did add some blur to the foreground, to add a bit of depth. When you’re using a 14-24mm lens at 14mm and f8, everything tends to be in focus. I also cropped it to a more panorama like format, because I thought it suited the photo.
